Wanted to share some material with you all -
In no particular order:
Why:
The first photographer mentioned, Jocelyn Catterson, documents amazing landscapes she encounters throughout her undergraduate experiences as a Parks, Tourism, and Recreational Management major at the University of Montana. Tim Barber’s work ethic motivates me constantly and his photo abilities are effortless. Dan Monick’s photo on the cover of Jimmy Eat World’s EP, Stay on My Side Tonight, was the entire reason for my interest in photography back in 2005. Matt Fry’s portraits are gritty and great. Oliver Bryce Yates, mmmm texture. Graham Walzer makes you want the west coast. Laura Taylor shows you what being young, gorgeous, and the nicest person ever, living in LA, feels like. Robert Rutoed’s Right Time Right Place proves the power of photography. Peter Andrew Lutsztyk’s ariel interstate photos are overwhelming. Caesy Oney’s Hoop Dreams are more realistic than your high school self remembers.
Enjoy.
